With a record of one win and seven losses, the freshman football team did not do as well as was hoped. However, the freshmen did gain valuable experience which is essential for those planning to go onto a varsity football career. GIRLS CROSS COUNTRY The Polar Bear girls cross country team went into the final two meets as the stron- gest North team in years, Coach George Davis said, adding that they have not lost a dual meet in six years. They have upset Pleasant Valley this years number one ranked team. Debbie Ford wins first place at Augustine Relays. A first ever for a freshman at North.
