A group of brave senior girls presented the Senior Skit for the Spirit Week assembly. Each girl donned the pajamas of a football player and performed a hilarious skit for the student body. Students weren ' t the only participants in the pep assem- blies. Another contributing factor was the willingness of the faculty to perform in vari- ous skits and programs. Near right: The first assembly of the football season made a big splash — especially on Mr. Webb.

The Stupendous Six sing one of their original tunes at a pep assembly. Pep Assemblies Boost North High Pride School spirit plays an impor- tant role in the student life of a high school. And pep assem- blies help to boost that school spirit. This year, our student body was presented with a vari- ety of exciting and entertaining programs. One of the highlights of the year was a visit by a musical group, the Trust Company, who presented a pro- gram of modern rock music. Also in the music field, the Drake University Choir, under the direction of Allan Lehl, performed for the student body. Other individual speakers who spoke for various assemblies are featured on this page. DR.
