Physical Education Plays Important Part at NHS RICHARD CAMP Drake, B.A., M.A. THOMAS LUTZ Grand View Simpson College, B.A. Graduate Study: Drake, Univ. of Maryland Keeping physically fit is a very important ingredient in high school training. In the fall boys can be seen outside playing foot- ball, and in the winter their activities consist of basketball, speedball, and volleyball. When spring arrives, the boys play baseball. After spring vacation, they are tested in sit-ups, rope climbing, and agility. JAMES LYLE Univ. of la., B.S., M.A. Graduate Study: Drake Univ. Russ Darr is tested for his ability in rope climbing. Playing basketball, badminton, volleyball, jumping on tram- polines, shooting bows and arrows, and taking physical fitness tests are some of the activities the girls engage in during the year. North ' s Business Education program aids non-col- lege bound students prepare for future careers in many fields. It also helps some students decide which field they wish to enter. These students learn and practice such skills as shorthand, typing, clerical prac- tice, business fundamentals, bookkeeping, and others. Terry Huffman uses dictaphone in clerical practice.
