Student Center Scene For After Game Parties Open houses are a very important part of the social life of many of the students here at North. The student center provides the perfect atmosphere for fun and relaxation where students can come and enjoy themselves after the football and basketball games. Pictured above and below are some Northites enjoying themselves at the after-game parties.

Up, Up, and Away Homecoming ' 68 Seniors, Becky Bush and Jack Reynolds reign over this years ' 76th homecoming events. This week spirited-off with a clash day on Monday. Various displays of wild and dynamic clothes and color combinations clashed about the halls. Tuesday was headed with the car bash and Senior day. All seniors wore their green and white to show their enthusiasm and spirit. The car bash was a big hit with the guys. For a quarter you could take three swings at the heap. Wednesday was Junior day. They in turn wore their green and white to help inspire school spirit. Sophomores took their spin on Thursday. This days ' special attraction was the traditional Powder Puff Derby played between the senior women and the underclass girls. Friday was highlighted by the car parade and the float for the candidates. During the half-time show at the game against Valley, the nominees were presented to the audience. Up, Up and Away was the theme of this years ' Homecoming Dance. Jack was chosen as Mr. Football and Becky was the Queen of events. The Queen ' s Court consisted of two seniors, Martha Swan- son and Ann Kinnamon, two juniors, Joyce Brewton and Linda McCarty, and two sophomores, Pam Eakins and Jody Reynolds. —9—
