Secretarial, Business Courses Provide Office Skills The Business Education Department takes in a wide variety of training. Typing, shorthand, notehand, bookkeeping, salesmanship, commercial geography, commer- cial math, and commercial law are all offere to the students. The experience that is provided to the students through keeping actual account and records of transaction, and taking dictation helps the students prepare for jobs in the business world. —16 —

The art department consists of arts and crafts classes. In the music department Miss Emmons directs vocal music and a humanities class while Mr. Killinger directs all in- strumental music.
