New Counseling Center Added This Year Preparing programs, aiding in the choice of a college, and planning for the future are only a small part of the responsibilities that the counselors assume. North High was very fortunate to receive a new counseling center this past year. With the addition of the new counseling center North added two new counselors and a clerk, who help to assist North students in plan- ning for the future. She assumes her counseling duties, helps with girls job opportunities, and serves as senior class sponsor. Boys ' and Girls ' Adv ' isers Assume Varied Responsibilities After serving five years as North High ' s vice principal and boys ' adviser, Mr. Hildreth has shown his fairness to all students. Mr. Hildreth assumes many responsibilities being boys ' adviser and vice principal. Among these duties are counseling, conducting aptitude tests for students, and handling job opportunities for boys. Competent Office Staff Aids Students JOYCE HUDGENS The office staff keeps busy working all doy. Steno-Secretory The office staff plays an important part in the smooth functioning of North. Among their jobs are preparing absence lists, keeping records of students, mimeo- graphing materials, doing secretarial work and keeping accounts for the school and clubs.
