Graduate Study: Post Graduate School — U.S. Naval Academy, University of Nebraska Doctorate: University of Nebraska Mr. Webb WENDELL WEBB Sioux Falls College, B.A. S.U.I., M.A. Help Make North Outstanding Mr. Webb greets North students in his friendly way. It takes a very competent person to run North well, and the youth have been privileged and lucky this year to have two such principals. Fond memories of Dr. Wetter which still linger in the minds of many include his warm welcome as a sopho- more, his work to bring Bob Richards to North, his friendly face at a game, his participation in the faculty frolics, his skill at making pancakes on Pancake Day, and his familiar phrase that Many nice things happen at North. More recently, students will remember North under the leadership of Mr. Webb. Exciting assemblies with tapes of the state basketball games, his willingness and support for student activities such as dances, his friendly greeting in the hall, and his disciplinary actions to help students mature were among the highlights of his semes- ter here. —8—

North offers an appropriate and wide variety of courses for its students to pursue. The student may learn the basic concepts of history or the current economic trends, he may delve into the fine arts of drama and music or gain a knowledge of the busi- ness world through typing and bookkeeping. The student is taught by methods that are chal- lenging and stimulating. Team teaching offers him an opportunity to gain a wide variety of ideas. He may increase his knowledge and understanding through use of the modern language and math labs. Science classrooms have facilities for the student to explore and perform experiments. Guidance is also an important part of youth; the counselors and advisers at North provide this for the student. North students will long remember their teachers and advisers who contributed so much to their time of youth. —7—
