(J3ili Shepard, 2)ram IfFjajor, t irects Vjarcliing $and BILL SHEPARD Drum Major The North High band, under the direction of Karl Killinger and led by head drum major Bill Shepard, performed in the Pella Tulip Festival, the Armed Forces Parade, the Drake Relays Parade, and the annual Pancake Day. Other than these performances, the band played at football and basketball games. In deep appreciation, members of the marching band presented Mr. Killinger with an engraved plaque during a special routine given in his honor during the North- Lincoln football game half-time show.
