Bill Stone Fan of Though during the school year, Department Head of Driver Education, Bill Stone is busy riding the road and teaching others to handle it, in the summer he coaches Little League and Dad's Club athletes how to run the bases and handle the mound. His personal sports program includes playing golf, tennis, and racquetball as well as collecting port baseball cards. Also he is active in politics and photography along with investing in real estate. People who have influenced him are his mother and his high school baseball coach and teacher. Famous people whom he ad- mires are John Glenn, Tom Har- kin, Tommy Lasorda, Jimmy Car- ter, and his mother. Getting our license Restrictions, types, social security numbers, etc. were officially laminated for about 350 North students as they earned rights to the road. Together we formed the Wildcat Union -- tossing aside Falcon feathers and Blue Devil tridents to achieve our new identity. Throughout the summer months, first-time leaders devoted many hours to band, cheerleading, publi- cations, and Student Senate. As these students set the foundations, traditions were created. From this nucleus of human energies, plans exploded into realities as dances, fundraisers, and contests highlighted the extracur- ricular calendars.
