Rea' Cross The purpose of the Red Cross is service for others. They take part in community, national, and international projects. Any pupil is permitted to join this organiza- tion headed by Mrs. Ruby Smith and Mrs. Carol Maxon. Among their services are the Christmas decorations and program at the County Home, making a scrapbook to be sent to Chile, and making refugee boxes for the needy. The officers are: President, Dan Norris, V. Pres., Annetta Flick, Secretary, Diane Sollbergerg Treasurer, Barb Evyjeng and Historian, Karen Ober. Prqjectionists The Projection Club with its many members, serves the faculty and student body by operating the Visual Aids equipment. Mr. Wilcox, the club's sponsor, trains the members in the use of movie and slide projectors, record players, and tape recorders. 91

Spanish Club The newest club in North High School is the Spanish Club. With its purpose of getting better acquainted to the Spanish language, this club is open to all students who have a back- ground in Spanish. The officers of this club are: Linda Aidala, Pres.5 Sharon McCarthy, vice-pres.3 Barb Conti, sec.g Prudey Lindsey, treas.5 and Miss Giuliano, advisor. Latin Club The idea of the Latin Club is to acquaint the students with the practical side of Latin and to initiate good fellowship. The requirements have been changed from two years of Latin to one year of the subject. The new advisor for the Latin Club is Miss Marie Simms. The two Consuls are: Tari McKenzie and Angie Aidalag Seriba, Karen Hardyg and Questor, Judy Tallon. 93
