9nto tli The competition for the billions of dollars teenagers spend has heated up in recent years. Movies, retail stores, fast food restaurants, and record shops all want a piece of the spending action. The fast food industries, one of the areas targeted by our study, is perhaps the single largest employer of teenagers. Then there’s the question, What do we as students spend weekly, or every other week? Many students buy their own clothes, and pay rent to their parents. This is one good way of teaching them responsibility. Some teenagers have a problem with saving their money. They blow all of their money over the weekend, and then they don't have any money for the rest of the week, or for their future needs.
