STUDENT LIFE 3 CLUBS 17 SPORTS 27 PEOPLE 47 ACADEMICS 105 The yearbook staff thought that the best way to describe the 84-85 school year was “a year of change.” The obvious change is North High itself. The school has made a name and reputation that can be respected and North has acquired such an academic reputation that students are considered elite if they are successful in one of our Magnets. North has changed from the social playground of the seventies to an intellectual and artistical facility of the eighties. Where as many former students simply just wanted to graduate, this year’s students have more far reaching goals such as furthering their education. We, the students of North High, are starting a tradition of excellence. We’ve come a long way in a few years and we’re still excelling. It all started when North created the climate for change.
