Urban League Youth Leadership Black Leadership helps develop leadership skills within the Black community. Black Leadership gets students involved in activities that will let Black students express leadership qualities. Andrea Hyatt, chairperson, said, “I feel that every individual who is in the Black Leadership group will bring out their leadership skills and benefit as an individual. We will not forget where we came from. We will always give it (leadership) back to our community.” Franklin Meadows, chairperson, said, ‘‘We are a new group that’s still young. We will go places and do things in the community.
