HOMECOMING 85 This year we had an exciting homecoming week. The week started off with a host of activities. Monday was the competition between the classes. Each class struggled against one another to win the Tug of War title for 1984-85. Tuesday was pajama day, almost everyone participated and we had a “barrel of laughs. Wednesday was sports, students dressed up like their favorite sport’s personality. Thursday was the big day for all persons involved in the homecoming coronation. This was also dress-up day. Students stepped out in their best clothing. This was the day Dionne Grigsby was crowned Queen, and Kevin Carlisle was crowned King. Friday was blue and white day, everyone showed their Polar spirit. We also had one of the best pep-fests ever. The football team repaid the event with a win, (29-12) over the Washburn Millers. 1. Queen. Dionne Grigsby, and King, Kevin Carlisle. 2.
