The band improved a great deal, despite changing directors during the year. It was a very busy year for the band as they played at all the home football and basketball games. Also, playing at the Dayton's Jubilee Sale the band made various other appearances in the Junior High's. The band council is responsible for all of the events and things that the band docs. They take all of the problems and solve them to how they think it will be best for the band. Then they are brought up to the band for a final decision. Thanks to these people, the band had a very exciting year. The council included the following: Tom Brophy, President; Jackie Minikus, Vice President; Mike Parenteau, Drum Major; Gayle Kvamlov, Secretary; Ernie Harper, Tresurer; Mike Day; Jan Galka, Sue Quist; Mary Rhudd. Band Members were: LEFT TO RIGHT: FROM CENTER-MOST HALF -CIRCLE: Lynn Clary, Bev Wulff, Tara Lind vail, Mary Cambell, Judy Bell, Gloria Hardy, Sue Nelson, Gladys Hardy, Murrin Chilstrom.
