German Club Our Gorman Club was under tho supervision of Mr. Weiber, this year. Mr. Weiber, originally from Germany, was a first year teacher at North. This year the Gorman Club was headed by President. Richard Politte: Vice-President. Phyllis Wagner; Secretary, Eva Gregor; Treasurer, Susan Oppegard. One of the highlights of the year was the Oktober Fest, or celebration for the new beer crop. In tho month of December they planned a Christmas Party, and also a banquet at the end of the year in a German Restaurant. Some of their activities this year included: a language ski-trip, the making of Christmas Cards, fencing demonstrations, folk singing, and a banquet which was held at the close of the year. 1970 Senior Council The Senior Council was hooded by Mr. Strickland, but lator on in tho year Mr. Permuth took over. Senior Council represents the graduating Class of 1969-1970. Officers wore: President, Matthew Bindor; Vice-President, Donette Johnson; Secretary, Shirley Hotland; Treasurer, Pamela Fraser; Sergeant at Arms, Ron Lindqron; and Mascot, Lynda Lohso. The Senior Council helped the Student Council male Homecoming a success this yeer as well as other events such os Sno Week, Senior A-Day. Senior Banquet, Commencement and Grub Day.
