As a sophomore, a Polar was taught the history of the world. As a result he gained the knowledge of human and civilized progression in many parts of the world. American history was the main topic as a junior. He learned of the various people and events that made this country one of the strongest in the world today. To get a better understanding of the world's social and political changes, each Polar, as a senior, had a course in modern problems.
