The members of this club rood obout, discuss and analyze the problems of the world. They also work tho World Affair quizzes which are In the newspaper each week. Then In tho spring of the year they tako a big world affairs test In which students from oil the Midwest participate. Out of these, the top 50 ore picked. Then thoro oro other tests in which the top six are chosen from each region. Those students rocelvo an expense-pold trip to Washington, 0. C What’s in a Name? Don't let the new nomo fool you; Hi-C was formorly Christian fellowship. These students meet every Tuesday offer school, with Mrs. Clarice Miller acting os odviscr to tho group. During the year they hove sleigh rides ond weiner roosts for all tho membors. They got together with other Hi-C groups from around the city for various other outings. The purpose of this club is to provide o Christian club in school where students con meet in a religious atmosphere ond hove fun togofher. In February the Hi-C's of the city had a rotreot at Loko Independence. In the spring they hove an all-city junior-senior formal banquof. You might think this ocf is unfair, unconstitutional, and undemocratic, but If it wasn't for these watch dogs our school would bo In an uproar during the 4th period.
