Seen very little, but always ready to help, is our Visiting Teacher, Mrs. Martin. Students with family, school, or personal problems can be sure of Mrs. Martins willingness to help solve them. Many of the school clubs that wish to aid needy families work through our Visiting Teacher. This year the task of painting the interior of North High has been completed. To keep the building heated, in good repair, neat, and clean, we have a maintenance Staff composed of janitors and engineers. Mr. Ready is the Chief Engineer and directs all of this work. The noon lunches for our school cafeteria are prepared by the Lunchroom Staff, under Mrs. Claussen. In cooperation with the Board of Education proqram. a variety of hot and cold lunches is prepared daily for all the students. Noon meals for the teachers, to be eaten in the Teachers’ Lunchroom, are also prepared by the staff. 9

They keep the records, issue bulletins and announcements, work in the book room, and take care of the school’s financial records. Head clerk of the office staff is Mrs. Miller. Our school library is ably supervised by Miss Helen Ulvestad and Miss Louise Klohn, who are willing to assist students in every way. The library is equipped with a wide assortment of books, fiction, fact, pamphlets. magazines, and other information necessary for school work 8
