Miss Marti Rufus Putnam, superintendent Taking over the position of new superintendent of sehools September 27, 1950, was Rufus Putnam. In his program, Mr. Putnam would like to rehabilitate Minneapolis schools. He feels that only uninterrupted progress can enable the schools to serve the students adequately. North's Dean of Girls is Miss Viola Marti, who helps students plan their programs and advises them on school problems. Mrs. Martin, the visiting teacher, helps students with problems outside of school. She visits the homes and gives advice to those who need help. When faced with a tough problem, boys at North know they can turn to Mr. Anway, their new dean, to receive expert help and guidance. Keeping the school running smoothly arc Mrs. Adelaide Anderson.
