Lunchroom Staff Unheralded workers in our manufactory arc the people who take care of the preparation of food and the management of our lunchroom. Over-all manager is -Mrs. Claussen, and behind the scenes workers are Miss Alice Johnson, cook; Mrs. Esther Carlson, pastry cook; Mrs. Ethel Hurtig, teachers’ lunchroom; Mrs. Alma I.eliding, kitchen assistant on the boys' side; Mrs. Julia Haynes, kitchen assistant on the girls’ side, and Mrs. Anna Lcwcock. part-time kitchen assistant. Maintenance Crew Mr. DeMarsh and Mrs. Malm head our maintenance department. It is through their work that we arc able to maintain the good record of appearance for which we arc noted. Library Staff Helen Ulvciud, Mrs. Eva Wilson Ddoris Manning: Maureen Li bon: Delores Wiesman The library is the mainstay of the school. In it the students may do research for all of their subjects with the willing assistance of our two librarians. In addition to research material, there is also available a large selection of current fiction and periodicals

Though these courses arc attended mainly by girls, North’s boys also arc privileged to enjoy the training given by the foods classes. Athletics North's well-rounded sports program includes apparatus, baseball, basketball, football, hockey, and swimming. These classes arc enjoyed by most students and offer a pleasant diversion from school studies. Industrial Work Homer Fetz-er John Jacobi Walter Kbusier Auto shop, architectural drawing. machine shop, metals, and cabinet making are the classes which make up the industrial department of North.
