Under the leadership of Jerry Trestman, the swing hand really goes to town in keeping the student body hep. Besides playing for auditorium programs, they blow many a sweet note for sunlight dances. Vocal selections of the latest popular hits arc sung by Millie 1 ladroff, Joyce Krckclbcrg. and Ralph Kroeten. Meeting every Thursday with Mr. Harry Ranks, the creative music class composes and plays popular and classical music. Priscilla Miller is shown seated studying a few points on music composition while Ann Louise Carlson, Beverly Adamson, Raymond Rascop, Anna Shure, and 1 Jarlan Sundholm look on. The North i ligh Choir under the direction of Mrs. Claris Etschcid is a very active and ambitious group. Each spring they present a concert and during the Christmas season sing carols in the halls of the school. litis year, the choir has sung at Lenten services at various churches, and has performed before the Lion’s Club, the Traffic Club, the National Convention for Physical Education, am! at the University I lospital.
