Don t Take My Penny The play's three beautiful models—June Danielson, Shirley Howard, and Nadine Reeves, receive a look of approval from Ed Peck, an excitable Frenchman. Dorothee Singer, playing the part of Penny Pringle in Don't Take My Penny. is shown portraying Lady Macbeth sleepwalking. in order to prove to her chums that she has enough acting ability to take a part in a forthcoming show. Joanna, played by Dorothy Dahlin, coaches and encourages Dorothee. while Bob Thurn. Penny's heart throb, and Wendy Olson, Joanna's love, are laughing at Penny's efforts. Director of the play is Miss Elva Nygaard. The members of the A Senior Class, on Friday, December 8, presented the three act comedy. Don't Take My Penny. Humor and merriment reigned throughout the play, which centered around stage struck Penny Pringle, whose greatest ambition was to play the part of Dimity West in a forthcoming movie. The present advisers of the chapter are Miss June McLeird, Miss Myrtle Larson, Miss Mary Moses, and Miss Alice Davidson. During our three years at North several members of the faculty have been mado life honorary members. They are Mr. Porley A. Davis, now retired; Mr. Harry Maass. principal; Miss June McLaird. Honor Society adviser. Graduating officors are Georgo Christenson, president; Dorothy Dahlin, secretary- Patsy Ewald treasurer. L Student Council The seat of our student government is the Student Council. Among other things, student council put on this year’s homecoming program.
