ClXTEEN pupils comprised the first graduating class of North High school. This number almost tripled in the year of 1901 when 44 received diplomas. In 1911, 143; in 1921, 316; in 1931, 689 seniors were graduated. Graduations grew still larger until in 1935, 886 were graduated: 318 in the January, and 568 in the June class.
