At North Howard Day Rebecca Kaufman Typing, Sales, Business Math English, Debate Mr. Day originally from Cincinnati, has visited Cali- fornia and lived in Europe for five years. Mr. Day is a graduate of Ohio State University. He taught for six years in Detroit, Michigan and enjoys golf and tennis. Miss Kaufman is originally from Milford Center, Ohio. She attended Capital University where she was on the Debate team. She received her B.A. degree from Capital and her M.A. degree from Ohio State University. Miss Kaufman previously taught at Johnson Park Junior High for three years. Her hobbies are reading, horseback riding and swimming. Mrs. Ray formerly taught at Linmoor. A native of Columbus she is a graduate of Upper Arlington High School. During the summer Mrs. Ray teaches swimming in addition to painting and playing bridge. Originally from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Mr. Skinner has traveled all over the world. He taught previously in Key West Florida High School and in the U.S. Navy. Mr. Skinner attended,Ohio State University where he received his B.S. degree and an M.A. degree. He enjoys all sports but particu- larly likes boating, fishing and photography. Mrs. Swanson, from Peoria, Illinois, is a graduate of Blackburn College with a B.A. degree. She came to North from Dunlap High School in Peoria. She attended Ohio State University where she received a B.S. degree in Educa- tion. She was in all of the education associations there. Her hobbies are reading, painting, cooking and sewing. Mrs. Biggers is a native of Columbus. She taught for one year at Springfield South High School. She was graduated from Ohio State University with a B.S. degree in education and enjoys all sports. Mrs. Bisdorf, who likes reading and playing billiards, is a native of Marion, Ohio. She is a graduate of Ohio State University where she received a B.S. degree in education. She was a reporter for the campus newspaper The Lantern, and also a member of Judicial Board for Women's Govern- ment Association. Mrs. Bisdorf is the advisor for both the Polaris and Memory Book. Miss Clayton came to North after teaching for twelve years at Clinton Junior High. She was graduated from Ohio State with a M.A. degree in education. Miss Clayton is from Alexandria, Ohio. Mrs. Cope is originally from near Beaver Falls, Penn- sylvania. She attended Youngstown University and is a graduate of Geneva College in Beaver Falls, where she received a B.S. degree in business education. She enjoys tennis, reading and cooking. Mrs. Cope taught in Beaver Falls and at Linmoor Junior High before coming to North. 14
