'W 4.4 H Presley I Ackroyd L Purola P Ruddlck A Alpeter D Frank B Vest W Fulton A Hughes D Geosano B Book A Bogun J Klrmas E Brott G Butzer W Makowski D Harris P Hogg C Cox E Rrzer L Maitland Collins L Thomas M Morris Thespians One of North High s most active groups is the Thespian Society Its aim IS to give its members an appreciation of dramatic art through the presentation of plays throughout the year An important activity of the group is a yearly trip to the Drama Clinic held at Kent State University Here, the members learn fine points of dramatic technique, lighting, stage setting, and other production helps. Applying their knowledge of these fine points to their own presentations , the group strives for a professional quality a factor rarely found in high school productions . Their success is proven by the enthusiastic audiences who view these presentations . Scenes from two of their most memor- able productions, The Birds and the Boys and Down to Earth, are presented on the opposite page. Betty Book is the President of the group, Allan Hughes is Vice Presi- dent, with Dick Geosano and Adda Bogun serving as Secretary and Treasurer, respect- ively. Norman Moyer is the group's advisor. 4
