PRINCIPALS FRANK RIGGS Principal To The Class of 1985: I salute you and offer my sincere congratulations to you. Rath- er than considering your graduation a milestone in your life, I would like you to think of it as a stepping stone. For now you step out into the future which holds endless possibiities for you. You have heard it said many times that the future is in your hands. You will be moulding not only your own, but also the future for the world we live in. This is indeed a challenge, but one I feel certain that you, and the thousands like you all over the world, will meet and successfully conquer. Your lives will be filled with successes and some failures. Enjoy your achievements, work hard to overcome your failures, and remember to keep interest- ed in your career, however humble it is, for it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time. Whatever your future plans may be, keep peace in your soul. With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be cheerful; strive to be happy. My best to each one of you.
