The science program emphasizes laboratory centered courses which provide the students with the opportunity to actively participate in discovering the concepts being studied. Emphasis is also on providing the opportunity for all students to participate in the various science courses offered. This dual program is proving successful in that many business-oriented students are going on to college and also in the great deal of success achieved in early job placement of ter- minal students. Among the new things during this year have been the updating of many of the machines used in the department in paving the way for inclusion of some training in data processing.
