Band Fading Sounds Along with most of the other school activities, the Band is decreasing in size and in activities. With sports becoming the all- important achievement in this high school, the days of large bands are through. The Marching Band puts in a lot of practicing time , but receives very little recognition in return. The years may come when bands at North Greene are things in the past. RIGHT: Danny Schaffer and Dawn Moulton stand wearily awaiting the next command. BELOW: The Band gives an excellent performance at the Christmas Concert. OPPOSITE RIGHT: The intense heat of the Stage Band forces Wayne Richards to shed his coat. OPPOSITE LEFT: For once, Mr. Mucci talks quietly with one of his performers.
