The award, presented to a boy of the Senior Class, is based on qualities in leader ship, patriotism, service, and dependabil- ity. Bob plans to attend Illinois College in Jacksonville, Illinois. ' a' 'AN BAE Miss Tamra DeVault, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Russell DeVault, was selected as DAR award winner of NGHS. The award is based on qualities of lead ership, patriotism, service, and dependa- bility. Tamrny's future plans are to attend col lege and major in music.

QEirlsz' State Cheryl Fundel, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Fun- del of Roodhouse, was selected by the American Legion Aux iliary to represent her community last summer at Girls' State. The honor is based on honesty, leadership, good char- acter, scholarship, and co-operativeness. While at MacMurray College, location of Girls' State, Cheryl was elected Chief Magistrate. Bugs' State John Bronstein, grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Christison of Roodhouse, represented his community at Boys' State last summer. He was selected by the A merican Legion Post of his home community. Qualifications for this honor are honesty, leadership, good character, scholarship, and co-operative- ness. X Evttg Glrurker Attmrh Jane Van Tuyle, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Van Tuyle of Roodhouse, was named North Greene's 1966 Betty Crocker Homemaker of Tomorrow. Jane scored highest in a written homemaking examin- ation taken by senior girls on December 7, 1965. She is now eligible for state and national honors. The contest was sponsored by General Mills to empha- size the importance of homemaking as a career.
