Places To Go There really aren't a lot of places to go in Gastonia on the weekends, but some students make the best of what.it has to offer. The most popular hangouts are McDonalds, Eastddge Mall, and Dimmen- sions. Some altematives for students are for them to go to parties or to Charlotte. Most students who work on the weekends miss out on school games and just about every- thing else but the parties. Brooke Halk stated, 6 'I work on the weekends, but sometimes I ride to Franklin or go to McDonalds,, ' Mike Muskelly, who works at Hannais Cafeteria, added, I never have time to do anything except play football and work. ' ' Thea Propst said, ' 'I go to the mall to shop with friends on the week- ends. ' ' Jeff Rogers just ' 'hangs around with friends. Halk Muskelly dglmlnnill,qq.l1asdqn Q ride the train at Time-Out.
