FELLOW HIP A . The Christian Fellowship club and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes are active clubs who work toward the improvement of everyday life. The CFC has sponsored a can food drive, a toy drive, a rent-a-kid day, and a teachers' brunch. They also visited the rest home on halloween, and gave a scholarship to a graduate. The FCA sponsored a toy drive, and a can food drive, they are part of the National Association for Students Against Drunk Driv- ing CS.A.D.D.D The members also enjoy hav- ing bible studies once a month. The CFC adviser Mrs. Bogle stated 'tl think both clubs have done a lot in the school to help other people. I am proud of these young people and all their interest and work. L Beta Club Officers: Tom Wright, Treasurer, Annissa Harris, Secretary, Leigh Anne Price, Vice-President, Kathy Mason, President: Mrs. Anne Hanna, Adviser. by Karen Anthony, advertising, headed by Roslyn Ervin, special projects headed by Kathy Mason, and a social committee headed by Dornessa Froneberger. Club members liked this idea because it gave them a more direct way to get involved. Roslyn Ervin stated, '6Being a committee chairperson has made me more confident as a person. Mr. Neely, Science Club adviser, would like for club members as well as the student body to become more confident in the club as a whole. The Science Club's responsiblity should be to help students get the most available help in science and math related areas, Mr. Neely stated. The large size of the Science Club had both advantages and disadvantages. However, Linda McKnight, the President, emphasized, 'tthere should have been no uncovered areas of school and community work produced by the club which can fall short sometimes in smaller clubs. In order for the Science Club to continue striving and become the best it can be, they will need as Roslyn Ervin stated, more loyal members and that upcoming sophomores and juniors should plan aheadfor an opportunity to explore with the Science Club?
