HELPI G HAND The Monogram Club is a club for people who have lettered in a varsity sport. They meet once a month or otherwise as needed. The Monogram Club has held such activities as the Half Court Hoop Shoot, Decorating for the dance, buying the cheerleaders an al1-you- can-eat dinner, and helping set up for the chorus and band Christmas concerts. Joey Watts, president, stated, The Homecoming dance was very enjoyable and also very profi- table. Jeff Bumgarner, secretary and treasurer also states, L'The Half Court Hoop Shoot was a great success because everyone wanted to try their luck and it also brought in some money at the same time. Sherry Hope says, I joined the club because it's the only club fellow athletes can join together to make a difference. Mary Beth Best feels, The Monogram Club is a club for lettermen and since I lettered I thought it would be a good club to fellowship with other lettennenf' Bus drivers also enjoy meeting together to discuss common problems. The Bus Drivers Club is a club that joins the bus drivers together to promote bus driving safety. To join this club a person has to be a licensed bus driver. They meet once a month or otherwise as needed. Mr. Carpenter, adviser of the club, says, The bus drivers' main obligation is to get the students to school as safely as possible every day. Daniel Shoitridge says, I like driving a lot and it's a good way to make money and it doesn't take up a whole lot of my time. Boyd Beasley states, 'fl joined the club because I drive a bus and it's the only club available for bus drivers only. Noel Hoffman feels, Driving a bus is better than going to work after school and you can still eam money. Sharon Anthony, secretary, states some of her main obligations to the club, ' 'I keep the meetings in order and I have to make sure everyone is keeping up with their time sheets. 166 X Clubs E Bus Driver's Club.
