F ocu ing In Although academics are very im- portant atNo11h Gaston, there is much more than meets the eye. Among these activities are ordering high school rings, going to dances, and helping out around the school. Attending ball games, tennis matches, and other sports activities are also popular among North Gaston students. While not in classes, students seek extra time to spend with each other. A favorite gathering Spot is the commons. Before school, during lunch and after school, students meet here to talk with friends, socialize and take a break from their hectic sched- Members of the girls' tennis team pose for the camera between matches. 'i ules. Much of the North Gaston students, time is filled with extra-curricular activities like clubs, band and sports practice. A wide variety dedicate their time and talents to achieving their goals. Sports activities also offer an opportunity for socializing while cheering on the team. Often friends gather at these events and display their support for Wildcat sports while hav- ing a great time. If you look beyond the classrooms, you can see the wide scope of events which makes North Gaston the great school that it is. n I I Wildcat students have a Coke and a smile to end their school day.
