The thrill of coming upstairs inspires the best of conduct and the Fifth and Sixth lived up to the highest expectations in every detail. This room was always among the leaders in attendance. This room has combined with Miss Caflisch's room in the forming of a junior citizenship club. The members of the room were in the operetta and in the programs given. The boys of the room were interested in athletics and were required to make a certain grade in scholarship before they were allowed to compete in sports. There was an intense rivalry between the groups in spelling and reading circle work. Miss Quam characterizes them as a very industrious group, Hlled with an amount of work, an amount of play, with the total effect a very high grade group. Page Twenty-six
