PRINCIPALS Mr. Gibson, Principal One of the most important qualities of a high school prin- cipal is the ability to under- stand and get along well with the faculty and student body. Mr. Gibson, as Northls prin- cipal, bears this responsibility well as he carries on the busi- ness of the school. His per- sonal concern for Northls '6family and his sense of fair play are admirable. His insis- tence on high standards for North represents the true Vik- ing spirit! Mr. Johnson, Assistant Principal Mr. Johnson, as one of North's Assistant Principals, rec- ognizes the fact that administration, faculty, and student body need to be aware of rules, regulations, and expecta- tions of all N0rth's family, Consequently, he em- phasizes the importance of the student handbook to facilitate the handling of any school-related problems that might arise. His other responsibilities include stu- dent discipline, supervision of extracurricular ac- tivities, and Senior Class attendance. His patience and willingness to work with the faculty and the student body have earned him the respect of all. Mr. Council, Assistant Principal As he assumes his daily responsibilities of Assistant Prin- cipal, Mr. Council has numerous opportunities to work closely with faculty and the student body. Student discipline, supervision of extracurricular activities, and Junior Class at- tendance are among his most important duties. They necessi- tate his being dedicated, well-informed, and firm but fair.
