New teachers encouraged a wider variety of subjects for the stu- dent's choice and gave the student a more roundly developed educational background. New faculty members were quickly initiated into North's rules and routines and found both stu- dents and faculty members friendly and helpful. Teachers and students be- came better acquainted as the days wore on and each student knew that an interested faculty member was al- ways ready to help and advise.
