The 1968 Varsity Club, under the able direction of advisor Ron Holland, organized many amusing and money raising activities. Among them were the usual popcorn stand and a new product -- hot dogs. The new president, Norm DeCourcy, promised more social and sport activities. To carry out this campaign promise, he organized a trip to a Red Wing hockey game, and a trip to Michigan State to see the IVISU-Ohio State football game. He also had a hand in the sponsoring of the basketball game between the Harlem Dip- lomats and the faculty. The club's size also increased which should allow it to complete even more activities next year. 87
