JUNIOR PROM Upon crossing a bridge bedeclced vvith oriental shrubbery and flowers, a numer' ous amount ot people entered the at- mosphere ot North Eugene's hrst Junior Prom, so named Lotus Land. Then, within their partners grasp they swept out onto the dance floor, becoming aware ot the mulit-colored Japanese lanterns which hung at various levels throughout the room. There was a beautiful array of colored crepe paper streamers that sep- arated the individual tables from the dance floor. Mr. Freddy Yahn and his orchestra provided music tor every mood desired. The music lent an everlasting memory to all those present. The Grand March heralded the beginf ning ot the big event for the evening.

ROYAL COURT Sue Swetland Tad Davies Sue Van Den Bos Fred Massey Donna Hughes Wally Mathewsg Joanne Snodgrass Mike McKay Sandra Brink Carl DiPaolo Standing at back Charlie Shoup and Louella Kelrn The royal court were seated and Suz- anne Van Den Bos was crowned queen for the occassion. Donna Hughes and Joanne Snodgrass were her Junior prine cesses, Sophomore royality consisted of Sue Swetland and Sandra Brink. The court was entertained by a short pro- gram, Refreshments were served through- out the evening. Included were punch, cake, and fortune cookies for those who dared to foresee their future. It is very conservative to say that the Prom was a success. Certainly, all who were there will agree that the tradition of a Prom for North Eugene couldn't have gotten off to a better start,
