The 'P.-T. J. Senior Skating Tarty HE Parent-Teacher Association seized upon this winter's innovation in outdoor sports to give one of the most delightful Senior parties ever enj oved by North Dallas High students. Both Senior classes were invited to an ice-skating party at Gardner Park on the evening of January the twen- ty-seventh. A happier time was never spent by boys and girls. Many went out the day before and were instructed in this new-to-Dallas art of ice skating and were extremely happy in exhibiting their skill. Those who couldn't skate slid around on the ice and made merry with their bumps and bruises and had just as good a time as the real skaters had. The committee on arrangements is due the thanks of the unusually large number of Seniors who accepted the invitation. Let us hope that next year's Seniors will be as fortunate as We, and have as good a time. Maiiy parents attended the party, also, and dispensed piping hot cocoa to warm up the skaters and crumbly doughnuts to delight their taste. fllelpfzirzn 'Party HE Delphian Literary Society gave a party Friday night, Nlarch I 8, at 8 o'clock at the home of M1-s. J. -I. Simmons, 2512 lN4cKinney Avenue, for the members and their escorts. The club hostess was Doss Luitwieler. There were seventeen tables of Bunco. The decorations carried out the St. Patrick Day colors of green and yellow, which are also the club colors. Refreshments, which also carried out the yellow and green color scheme, were served to seventy-two guests. Prizes were given to the following: first prize for girls, Frances Bramblettg first prize for boys, Edwin Nesbit, second prize for girls, lN1ary Nettervilleg second prize for boys, Carroll COX, and consolation prize, Al- liene Brandon.
