A Message From Our Governor Population trends across the nation graphically point to an ever-increasing need for skilled craftsmen in most occupations, a need being filled admirably by the students of the North Dakota State School of Science. This is an achievement of which you can be justly proud. The important part played by your school in education is at once apparent when the ultimate job of earning a living is at hand. Yours is a specialized school—a school that specializes in preparing young men and women for life-long work and sees to it that each student graduates qualified to hold his own in the competitive days ahead. Yours is in many ways an enviable opportunity because you not only gain the academic knowledge necessary for later life, but you gain, in addition, invaluable on-the-job training that gives you the experience needed to obtain satisfactory employment in the field of your choice.
