Presidenfs essaqe Our final year in North Coventry High School has drawn to a close. As we look hack over the past four years, we realize that they are the finest and most profitable ones we have ever ex' perienced. Our progress throughout these years has helped us to set up for ourselves aims and ideals which are based, not on the desire to acquire material wealth, but on the desire to build worth' while charactersfstrong characters that will withstand the temptaf tions that we know await us in this unsettled, war torn world. We have started to form the mold of our lives with these high ideals as our foundation. Our willingness to work together for the good of the class, our friendships, our experiences in classfroom and other activitiesAall these have gone into the building of our characters. It is with deepest regret that I, as president, must say farewell to my classmates, who have worked with me and supported so loyf ally all class undertakings. In all your school associations and conf tacts, you have been a Hne influence. Let us all work to achieve these high aims and ambitions, using the knowledge we have gained to aid us as we strive toward our objectives, So, as you take leave to begin your journey through life, I wish you all the best of luck in your future undertakings.
