RICHARD THORNBURY C1900-19595 The Hippocratic Oath was not just words to be uttered for the moment when the title of Doctor of Medicine was bestowed on Dr. Richard Thornbury in 1924. This oath to heal was his guiding light. Through administrating to physical infirrnities, Dr. Thornbury also became counselor and friend. His passing has left a deep void which cannot easily be filled. The pupils of North Collins Central School loved and respected Dr. Thornbury, who was appointed school physician July 1, 1936. Because of the high esteem held for him, we, the staff of the Reverie feel it fitting and proper to give tribute to Dr. Thornbury in this, the yearbook of 1959.
