Dennis Goedl led the way with 3TDs and John Coleman and Lee Zimmerman added 1 and 2 respectively. COEERAIN - NCH came out on top in the tradition- al rivalry with a 16-12 win over the Cardinals. Lee Zimmerman accounted for a safety and Art Bue- chel contributed a TD on a 45-yard run. Dick Finke also scored on a 49-yard pass from Mark Angelo. READING - NCH posted its third win in beating Reading 26-8. Harry Coleman scored on a 54-yard run. Two Angelo to Finke pass plays produced TDs and an Angelo to Harry Coleman pass sewed up the Trojan victory. TAYLOR .. The Trojans remained undefeated by downing Taylor 26-18. Again the Angelo to Finke passes resulted in scoring for NCH. as the pair racked up 2 more TDs. Stan Bradley scored and Steve Garrard scored by blocking a punt and run- ningitin. FINNEYTOWN - NCH ran its record to 5-0 in beat- ing Finneytown 19-13. Angelo and Finke combined for 2 TDs in the game, and Angelo ran one over himself from the 3. Finneytown threatened in the . fourth quarter. but the Trojans recovered a fumble to preserve the victory. LOCKLAND - NCH resumed their winning ways by blasting Lockland 34-01 Angelo threw to Finke for the first TD. Harry Coleman then made it 12-0 with a touchdown run from the 51 The second quarter saw Angelo pass to Goedl twice, each good for a TD. Harry Coleman ended the scoring with another 5- yard TD run. AIKEN - The Trojans ended their season on a low note, losing to Aiken 21-16. The first Trojan score came when Angelo passed to John Coleman on a 40-yard play. In the third quarter, Steve Garrard intercepted a pass, setting up Harry Colemanis TD run. Aiken scored once more. however, which was enough to gain them the victory. 59 MT. HEALTHY - The Trojans continued their fine record by defeating Mt. Healthy 36-16. Scoring began as Stan Bradley made a 1-yard plunge, Two Angelo to Finke passes also resulted in scores. In second half action Angelo kicked a 20-yard field goal and Zimmerman scored when he recovered a blocked punt in the end zone. LINCOLN HEIGHTS - NCH suffered its first defeat in bowing to Lincoln Heights by a 26-22 effort, NCH's first score came on a pass play from Heben- striet to Greg Butler. The Trojan's other 2 TDs were scored by Mark Angelo, Lincoln Heights then scored twice in the fourth quarter to pull out a victory. HARRISON - The Trojans lost their second in a row in losing to Harrison by a 22-6 margin; Niether team scored in the first quarter, but Harrison scored 2 TDs in the second quarter for a 14-0 half- time lead. In the post season tournament, the Trojans drew a bye in the first round, beat Coierain in the second round. but lost in the third round to Middletown. Last year's King and Queen, George Smedley and Sherry Syd- ers returned to crown the royal couple, Molly Brown 94 With the combined talents of the Drama Boosters and the Adult Chorus, The Unsinkable Molly Brown was presented on February 28 and March 1. The decorations were original and simply fantastic. Music was provided by the Wess-Neil Orchestra The cli- max of the evening came with the crowning of the royal couple. Queen candidates were Paun Ia Berger, Debbie Fisher. Regina Heidorn, Bonny Martin. Claudia Matson, Sandy Stevens, and Heather Tobergtay King candidates were Mike Doherty, Dennis Ehrhardt. Dan Kramer, Ed Raiser. Jeff Salt, Jim Seals. and Ken Thinnes. The '69 Prom Queen and King were Paula Berger and Ken Thinnes crowned by last year's royal couple, Evie Bush and Rick Mat- son.
