The theme of the 1968 ILIUM is based on a well- known passage from the Bible, Ecclesiastes 3:1-9. It is a passage that has been used many times over in songs, films, and many other endeavors, but as one of the rare, immortal pieces of literature, never becomes trite; it is always meaningful. It has been said, There is a time to be born and a time to die . .. ; but there is an interval between these two times, of infinite importance. N.C.H. is only a small part of this interval, but a part we want to remember always. If we can bring to life the memories that make a school year complete, then the 1968 ILIUM may take it's proper place in this vital interval.

We Dedicate: This year our yearbook is dedicated to an organization our school greatly appreciates. Its members work hard on projects to raise money so that we, the students, may benefit. They give usextralibrarybooks, gym and athletic equipment, music and art supplies, scholar- ship funds, public address systems, foreign exchange student funds, money for landscaping. band uniforms. an outdoor sign, and the lighting for it. Although they didm buy all these things themselves, they made donations to the organizations and made the purchases posgible. Without our Parent-Teacher Association, these things would not have been ours to enjoy. - The North College Hill Ir.-Sr. P.T.A. was formed in 1953. Monetary contributions given to our Jr.-Sr. HighSchool from 1953 through 196'? total $3,363.78.
