1m; .J, AL The school year of 1965-66 is history now, and we have had a very successful year. We have seen changes take place in the physical plant which have shown improvement in our facilities. We are grateful to our Board of EdLication and Superintendent for their progressive thinking and thoughtfulness. ln reviewing the year it is- only proper that we say farewell to the class of 1966. Approximately 6070 of the graduates will be admitted to an institution of higher learning. This includes Junior College, Nursing, Technical, Vocational, and Business. Those who will be attending college totals 450XO. This is outstanding and this class is to be congratulated for such a large proportion. We wish all graduates success and happiness in whatever field of endeavor they may choose. The underclassmen who will be returning to North College Hill will see many more changes in the future. This year has been a gratifying one for me as your Principal. The one characteristic of the student body that stands out clearly in my mind is the enthusiasm and desire to work and accomplish success in their many activities. I speak in reference to the Home- coming floats, the outstanding Junior-Senior Prom and many other activities. it this enthusiasm carries over into your classroom work, I'm sure your achievements will be most rewarding. The unsung heroes of any school are the classroom teachers who give unselfishly of their time. They are without question the heart of education, and the students here at North College Hill are most fortunate to have a competent and well qualified faculty. I wish to take this opportunity to express the student body's and my personal gratitude for a successful school year. In closing, 1 want to say a special thanks to all whom I have had the privilege of working closely with over the past school year. The many organizations, the secretaries, the counselors, the iani- tors, the cooks, and everyone who has contributed to the school. For students, teachers and friends of NCH the 1 serves as a key to unlock memories in years to Ct 50 it is a pleasure for me to have an opportunity to be a part of these pages of memories. i want to wish all graduates of the class of 196566 the best of things to come. I hope that ail of their dreams are fulfilled, I want to congratulate the entire student body on their accomplishments that are reflected on the pages of this book. I have missed the close association with the students and faculty at the High Schooi this year, but i have enioyed the broader experience of working with the entire student body of the North College Hill School District.
