FRESHMEN Left to right: Joan Darrow, Treasurer; Belt)’ Daniels, Secretary; Janet Fagan, Vice-President; Don Curtright, President. The first day of school for us was one of fear and awe. As time passed, the fear gradually subsided, but the awe for the teachers and the largeness of the school still remained. The realization that the entrance into high school was accompanied by many responsibilities was complimented by enthusiasm and eagerness to work. We had much to give our new school, and we had much to learn about it. We gave it our fullest, and we found that the learning was fun. It made us a part of the school, and the school a part of us. We, as a class, are no longer outsiders looking in, we have be- come a necessary and wanted part in the mechanism of N.C.C.H.S.
