The Devils were beaten only two more times-by Columbia and Conway- both in very close games. They beat George- town for the first time in Hve years and went on to post victories over Spartanburg, Aynor, Brookland-Cayce. Sumter. and Charleston. At the end of the season they were ranked fifth in the state with a record of 7 wins and 3 losses.
