Tom Norris eCBig T99 People grow and mature in many ways. Last year everyone who attended NC, particularly those who lived in the Menis Dorm, were deeply moved by the death of Tom Norris. Big T, as Tom was affectionately known, died suddenly of a heart attack on October 7, 1982. We know, as Tom did, that the moment his heart ceased to beat, his soul and spirit were alive in the presence of Jesus, whom Tom loved and served. itHaving worked with Tom Norris for a little over a year, I was always impressed with his faithfulness, sincerity and servants heart. Tom was a quiet individual and yet his presence was always sensed. tiI never found a chore that he was not willing to perform. We will greatly miss Tom Norris and the contribution he made both to the college and the Athletic Department. We have the confidence that God has called him home.
