Clark would take an eternity. No where have I witnessed such a God-fearing man take such a keen interest in each of the students in the college. He carries all the burdens and dreams we have for North Central. And behind all the rush of our activities, you can be sure he is behind the scenes praying and putting in a good word for our college as a whole. He will be one of the main reasons why North Central will grow and prosper in the future and we should thank God daily for such a man honoring our school as 1ts PrCSIdent. Donna DeMoss llE.M. Clark came to North Central in a time of cris- is. With insight gained from many years as pastor and district administrator he has guided the college to fi- nancial stability. He has also set a standard of spiritual leadership for all to followfi Rev. John Phillips iiI don,t think President Clark will ever realize how much we love and appreciate him. How can we express it? We can try to write it but it doesnit seem to say as much as we feel. The love and concern he has for each of us Was felt the first time he spoke in chapel-and it grew, that means so much! To be loved, respected, appreciated and prayed for by the President of a college is a beautiful privilege. . .So, to you, President Clark, we give much honor, love, and thanks? He has a tremendous desire to serve the Lord and encourages others to put their complete trust and faith in the Lord. His zeal and determination to see things accomplished for the Lord are al- most unmatched among ministers today. CLARK, President NORIH CENTPAL BIBLE COLLEGE 910 Elliot Ave. 80.,Minneopolis, Minn. 55404 l612-332-3491 Dear Graduate of 1972: The year 1971 is a red letter year in my life -- the beginning of a school year -- my first year as President -- and a close association with nearly 500 of the finest people I have ever known, the students of North Central Bible College. It is hard for me to fully grasp what has happened to me this year. This is not a college president - student relationship. These are my friends, and we have been partners this year in facing and overcoming obstacles that stood mountain high. Thanks to God through the student body these mountains are crumbling. The Faculty, the Administration and the Staff have done service above and beyond the call of duty to help meet the need at the College this year. The victories gained have been joint victories in every sense of the word. My personal prayers and sincere love will follow each graduate this year. I wish you a meaningful place in the harvest, with great fruitfulness and happi- ness as you serve Him whom we love. - I will feel a real personal loss if some of the underclassmen find it impossible to return next year. Life can be such a happy experience. I want above all things that it will be the very utmost for you. ThetGod who has been so gracious to me will meet you also in the time of need and make up that which is lacking . Above all, I exhort you to never settle for mediocrity, for you know the One who said, I am come that ye might have life and that more abundantly. He meant the abundant life for you -- claim it. I wish you God's very best. Your friend , E. M. Clark President EMC:paa New faces express anticipation. Familiar faces smiling, reminiscing of years gone by... BAN- QUET 1971, was much more than just a feast. It was an elo- quent setting in which tuxes turned boys into proper gentlemen, and formals transformed girls into beautiful women. The cul- mination of ladies and gentlemen so appropriately attired created a rich, warm, romantic atmosphere. I consider it a ministry rather than a mere duty. Missions should not be blown out of perspective and mis- sions must not be neglected. It is merely another arm of the Church of God and yet I believe it is the most exciting area of ministry. There are countries where the gospel is spreading like wild fire. There are countries like China where millions and millions of people have never heard the name J esus. Be- ing on the missions staff has drawn me closer to all this and more important, has caused me to pray for it. 79 Bruce Kallies IIThe Prayer Band is a personal commitment of ones self to prayer for a specific area of the world-whether home or abroad. Bruce Hibma 83 tilt is amazing how contemporary Plato appeared to be in his writings on music. Platonic philosophy emphasized a strong control in kinds of music used, as Plato believed that the state was moulded and built by the songs it sang. Undoubtedly a similar musical ethos exists today and is crucial in formu- lating social standards. Upon this base Christianity must build a strong and unrelenting musical doctrine which is neither tempered nor side-tracked by the wordly fair. This underlying philosophy dominates the music of North Central Bible College and the Evangelaires. We believe that the Eternal God, our Father abides forever? Rev.
